Laurinaitis, knowns as Road Warrior Animal,was one-half of the legendary tag teamRoad Warriors/The Legion of Doomwith MichaelHegstrand,who wasknown as Road Warrior Hawk.Hegstranddied in 2003 at the age of 46.The duo and their manager Paul Ellering were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.The tag teamheadlined manypay-per-view events. Laurinaitis's son, James, was a linebacker for Ohio State University and played in the NFL.
