Musical career

Pace sang both as a solo artist and with her eight sisters in the gospel group the Anointed Pace Sisters. She released her debut solo album, “He Lives,” in 1990, featuring the song that would become her signature number, “I Know I’ve Been Changed.” Pace had another hit in 1996 with “Act Like You Know,” which recently had renewed popularity when it became part of a Tik Tok trend. In 2003, Pace published her autobiography, “For My Good but for His Glory.”
