Pamela Bach’s legacy
When Bach appeared on the show “Knight Rider” in 1985, she wasn’t just launching a career. She also met her future husband, David Hasselhoff, on the set of the ‘80s action show.
“Knight Rider” was just one of several roles that got Bach’s acting career off to a quick start in 1985, when she was also on “TJ Hooker,” “Otherworld,” and “George Burns Comedy Week.” The following year, she added “Cheers” and “The Fall Guy” to her resume.
She and Hasselhoff married in 1989 – they have two daughters, Taylor-Ann and Hayley – and when he led the hit show “Baywatch,” she was there, too, appearing in 14 episodes over a decade. She also had a recurring role on the crime drama “Sirens” in the mid-1990s.
Bach also did stage work, including an off-Broadway production of “Crimes of the Heart,” and early in her career, she was developing a comedy act with Joe Piscopo. She also had an early role on “The Young and the Restless.”
She and Hasselhoff divorced in 2006 after a contentious separation.
