Sonya Eddy started her acting career on stage in Ruby Dee’s play “Zora Is My Name.” She appeared in numerous television shows and movies though she is probably best known for playing Epiphany Johnson on the soap “General Hospital” from 2006 until 2022. She made guest appearances on “Seinfeld,” “Glee,” “Pen15,” “The Middle,” and “CSI.” On the big screen, she appeared in “Barbershop,” “Bad News Bears,” “Daddy Daycare,” and “Coach Carter.”
