Football career

Nwaneri played college football at Purdue University before being drafted in the fifth round by the Jaguars in 2007. He became a starter in 2008. He played with a meniscus injury in 2012. In 2014, Nwaneri was released by the Jaguars and signed with the Dallas Cowboys. He spent only a few months with the Cowboys before being cut, ending his NFL career.
