University of Virginia shooting (2022)

Three students were killed, and two others were injured, in a shooting at the University of Virginia Sunday night.

The three people who died were all juniors at the university and members of the school’s football team. Their names are:

Devon Chandler. A North Carolina native, he was a wide receiver and kick returner who had recently transferred from the University of Wisconsin.

Lavel Davis Jr. He was a wide receiver from South Carolina.

D’Sean Perry. A native of Miami, he was a linebacker.
