Hemant Bhonde Obituary

Bhonde was a kind man who made friends easily and would do anything to help anybody out.
He took refuge from the storm with h is wife, Jerrie. The couple waited inside the shower, clinging to each other as the tornado destroyed the couple's home.
Jerrie Bhonde remembers that suddenly, the couple's bathroom disappeared.
"Walls were hitting me. I was knocked on the floor," she told NBC News from her hospital bed, where she was recovering from her injuries.
The couple's daughter, Geeta, described her father as "a generous, caring man."
"Funny, silly, I mean, give you the shirt off his back, literally. The best guy you'll ever meet," Geeta told the news station.

Please accept my condolence and heartfelt prayers for the loss of Hemant. When someone we love dies naturally we look for comfort, (2 Cor.1:3) says that God is the God of all comfort. It is my hope all of you will find encouragement knowing also that our loving Creator comfort all who mourns the loss of their love ones (Isaiah 61:1, 2).

I cannot help but be sadden at loved ones being taken from us so suddenly. My heart just aches when I think about the impact this tragedy has on the family and friends of Hemant Rhonde. . I hope you all can find strength from the song of King David when he sang; ''God will become a secure height for anyone crushed, a secure height in times of distress (Psalms 9:9 & 10)"

Words can not express the sorrow I feel for you Jerrie. My heart breaks everythime I think about you loosing your love. I believe we only get so many great loves in our life and he was truly yours. Know that he loves you and time,space, and even flesh will not change that...Geeta, Your father is so proud of you. how you handle yourself with grace and courage in the face of all that has happened. Your father loves you and just like your mother time,space, and flesh, cant stop it. Know we love you guys and if you need anything we are here.

Hemant uncle, has always been part of the family. He would spontaneously come over to Dallas, just to say hi. Being my father's best friend, he watched my sister and I grow up. From racing along the lake to attending to my high school graduation, he always enjoyed being there. I have nothing but good memories with my uncle. May he rest in peace, with his unforgettable smile looking over us.

Hemant Uncle, you watched me and my sister grow up, shared the best stories with my dad, flew kites with us, talked stocks with us, and remained my dad's best friend after all these years.
