I was saddened to hear that Mrs. Biden has died. As you try to find some type of closure and reason you will find out that you not alone. A loss is unique as we all react differently. But, as you accept closure, it takes you one step further towards healing. Call to mind the happy memories you shared with her. But, “Do not let your heart be troubled”. (John 14:27) Do not two sparrows sell for a coin of small value? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’s knowledge. You are worth more than many sparrows.”(Matthew 10:29, 31). Therefore, he knows and cares about your sorrow and pain.

When death separates family members, such great loss can result in deep sorrow. How can we cope with bereavement? Our complete reliance on “the God of all comfort” will help us to endure grief, sadness and sorrow. (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4)

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those in any sort of tribulation through the comfort with which we ourselves are being comforted by God
1 Corinthians 1:3,4
May the God of comfort, comfort your family now.

I know what it's like to lose your mother, it's heart breaking. I feel lost even now almost 3 years after my mother passed away, on my birthday to boot. I still think "I want to call mom and tell her this." I then realize all I have to do is talk to her because she will hear me from heaven above.

May God bless Mrs. Biden and hold her close to Him and keep her in his loving light for all eternity. It must be such a comfort to have had her for so long in your life. The Irish and the Catholic Church had a strong hold on her and with her wonderful personality she was precious to Him.

Dear Vice-President Biden:
Of such strong values your character was shaped.
Your mother has gone through the paradox called "death" - the portal into the eternal life stream. It is God's will that humankind express his attributes on earth, but when the vehicle for our Spirit-Soul fails to serve us in a more significant way, the paradoxical tool called death is there for us to utilize, for us to shed this manifest body and free the Soul so that it is free, unencumbered, with no chains to bind her.
You loved her in life, so continue to love her in "death." For she has become a part of all there is - God's Omnipresent Life. She is as close as a warm summer breeze as it kisses your cheek, or the cool rush of winter's snow, the tapestry of Autumn, and the Spring flowers as they erupt to signal another cycle of Life has come and gone in Infinity.
You were blessed to have her and share her for a little while when it is dropped against the timeline of eternity.

To Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden and family - my sincere condolences to you on the loss of your sweet mom and "MomMom." What a treasure she was! You were fortunate to have her with you all these years and for her to see you rise to your position of authority -- you made her very proud, as you do all of us here who call you one of Delaware's best. My admiration to you for your wonderful eulogy for your Mom and my admiration to Dr. Jill for her strength and wonderful remembrances during UD's Winter Commencement. I was the one who came to get you from the robing room and escort you to the platform party area -- I was honored to express my personal condolences to you on behalf of all here at UD. For Jean...
WEEP NOT FOR ME
Do not weep for me when I no longer dwell among the wonders of the earth; for my larger self is free, and my soul rejoices on the other side of pain...on the other side of darkness.
Do not weep for me, for I am a ray of sunshine that touches your skin, a tropical breeze upon your face, the hush of joy within your heart and the innocence of babes in mothers arms.
I am the hope in a darkened night. And, in your hour of need, I will be there to comfort you. I will share your tears, your joys, your fears, your disappointments and your triumphs.
Do not weep for me, for I am cradled
in the arms of God. I walk with the angels, and hear the music beyond the stars.
Do not weep for me, for I am within you;
I am peace, love, I am a soft wind that caresses the flowers. I am the calm that follows a raging storm. I am an autumns leaf that floats among the garden of God, and I am pure white snow that softly falls upon your hand.
Do not weep for me, for I shall never die, as long as you remember me...
with a smile and a sigh.

Dear Mr.Vice President and family. It sounds as though you had a mom much like mine. Warm, lovable, perservering, great sense of integrity. Not like most people look at their mom's, and those that do wait until it is to late. She seems to have had the Qualities that my mom had, most of all love for her Son that would someday become Vice-President. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of grief. Although it is a time you must grieve, It is easier if you remember the most simple remarkable things you shared. For me that was when my mom and I would get a Pepsi and salty peanuts, and as you poured them in the bottle the carbination caused the salt to fizz off. It is those simple little things that will help you each day. And you being in the position that you are in (Vice President) you can walk the halls of the White House when you have a major dicision to make, she will be right there with you. Good luck, lots of love and plenty of thoughts of you and your family in my Prayers!
