Norman Tennant Obituary



We are saddened to announce the passing on our father, father-in-law, grandfather, and great grandfather, Norman R. Tennant, 83, of Hundred, WV. Norman died on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Norman was born June 29, 1931 in Miracle Run, WV, a son of the late Cloman Tennant and Laura Berdine Tennant. Pror to moving back to West Virginia, Norman worked at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford, CT, from where he retired after 39 years of employment. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran. Survivors are his son, John E. Tennant and his wife Nona Tennant of Willington, CT, three grandchildren, Sabrina Tennant Carter and her husband Brian Carter, John N. Tennant and his wife Sara Tennant, and Matthew Tennant, two great grandchildren, Elley Grace Carter, and Marcus Williams, and a host of nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Norman was preceded in death by seven brothers and four sisters. The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV was in charge of the funeral arrangements. Norman was buried at the Park Cemetery, Miracle Run, WV, on June 2, 2015.
