Dear Michelle--YOu likely did not know, but Connolly was kind of a guiding light from the time I was assigned a judge in Santa Monica past my retirement when we saw each other at UCLA events. I was blessed to know him and to have met you at the various events he loved so much. He will always have a place in my heart. Linda Lefkowitz (310)454-1489

When I started working for Connolly, he took to me to a Court hearing with him. When he checked in with the Clerk, he told the Clerk that Opposing Counsel wanted her to go ask the Judge why he was still back in Chambers and was taking so long to come out. It was my first taste of his hilarious ways, and, I learned that only Connolly could get away with such antics! For the rest of our time together he only got funnier! Connolly was one in a Million. I will miss him terribly.

Dear Michelle
Amy just made me aware of Connolly's passing. I remember his wit, intelligence and the kind hospitality he and you extended to me at various holiday affairs I attended at your lovely homes. He was a presence for sure and certainly at Hillstone's counter at lunch. The candle is my message of well wishes to you and your family during this time of transition.
Fondly .....,

Connolly's quick wit was hard to match. Like so many others, we are deeply saddened by the news of his passing, yet thankful to have had the opportunity to share time with Connolly. We will miss our favorite neighbor and his insistence on giving big bear hugs. Our heartfelt condolences (and a big hug) go out to Michelle and family.

A man's most lasting influence on the world is seen in the faces of his family, the light in there eyes when they talk about him and in the love they'll hold on to forever! Here is to a good man, the life he lived, the hearts he touched and the legacy he left behind! All my best to Todd and Leslie! You now both carry on the legacy.

He always had a joke for us at the Jonathan Club gym. Connolly was part of the family of members who work out there regularly in the morning.
He was spunky and always had a great smile at the crack of dawn. I could see he enjoyed his life. We will all miss him at the club.
My heart goes out to you Michelle and your family.

Michelle,
The Lorena Ochoa Golf Foundation is going to miss Connolly. Our monthly board meeting always started with one of his inappropriate jokes and his big laugh.
It was inspiring to work with someone who gave so much and wanted nothing in return. He motivated each of us.
We're going to miss the ConMan and his jokes.

Connolly was such a fun and generous man. A great story-teller and true jokester, my favorite memories with the Conn-man were our afternoons watching obscure high school sporting events on TV while cracking jokes. He will be thoroughly missed. Goodbye friend.

We will have more to say but at this moment, we just can picture Connolly and all of you. Each time was a joyful experience, filled with humor, delight in your wonderful family and specifically from Connolly, a sense that he knew always what was right, even if said in an 'inappropriate" delivery/joke :) What a loss and our thoughts are with all of you. Michele, I am surprised to hear of Connolly's death, I had sat next to him several months ago at one of those horrible dinners! Even after eating the food he looked great and was funny as ever.
It was his stories that I loved to hear and as an old timer, he had stories. As I recall he had one or two about me!! One of the old time divorce lawyers and one of a handful who paved the way for what is known as to today... 'Family Law'.
May God Bless Him,
