Phyllis, "Little" Rusty, Davis & Lee,
I worked for Rusty in the early '80's at The Missisisppi Bank when you guys were growing up. It was a pleasure working with Rusty and I loved hearing the stories of his family - he loved his family. He was a most humorous person and everyone on 10th floor was crazy about Rusty. He was fun to work with and was a most patient and kind boss.
I know you have countless good and loving memories of your husband and dad - hold tight to those memories. I have you in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

To the Burke Family:
I too was lucky enough to work with Rusty in the '80s. He was a wonderful boss and teacher with both humor and patience. It was with great sadness that I read of his passing. His family will be in my thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.

To Rusty's Family:
I was fortunate to work with Rusty in the 1980's at The MS Bank. Rusty was a friend to me and I will always remember the laughs and smiles during the lunches and meetings. I appreciate Rusty teaching me about residential construction lending. I'm so glad that I made it a point to call Rusty annually over the last years. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. Sincerely, Bob and Jan Cragon

Burke Family:
I worked with Rusty for many years. I am stunned by hearing of his death. I can remember Rusty and Bob Cragon giving me a surprise visit one day while building my new home in 1986.
I hope it is of some consolation knowing that many people loved and respected Rusty for being himself and for the years he devoted to banking.
Sincerely,
Mel Westerfield
