Family-Placed Death Notice

WRIGHT, Sena Arnold SENA ARNOLD WRIGHT Savannah- Sena Arnold Wright, 82, died peacefully in her home in Savannah on August 13, 2009. She was the only child of U.S. Army Brigadier General Calvert Hinton Arnold and Sena Bostwick, both of South Georgia. Sena graduated from Savannah's Pape School in 1944 and attended Hollins College. Sena is survived by her husband, Walter Whittier Wright of Atlanta, whom she married in 1948. They made their home in Atlanta for 52 years. She was active in the Atlanta Junior League, primarily in Children's Theatre. She was a volunteer at the Cathedral of St. Philip's Bookstore. For the last ten years of her life, she settled by Wassau Sound, where she enjoyed watching the sun rise over the marsh and the visits of regrets. She is survived by her children: Madeline Kytle of St. Simon's Island, Louellen Murray and her husband, Tim Murray, of Lake Forest, Illinois and Whittier Arnold Wright and wife, Erin, of Jasper, Georgia; six grandchildren, Beth Kytle, Richard Kytle, Patrick Murray, Phillip Murray and wife, Anna, Eleanor Murray, and Nigel Wright. She was a member of St. John's Church, Savannah. Funeral services will be held at the family home at Tate Mountain Estates, September 19th at 3:00 p.m., Rev. Victor Morgan officiating. Memorial gifts may be made to Good Samaritan Health and Wellness Center of Jasper, Georgia (www.goodsamhwc.org)
