I met Linda in the 1970's in Houston,
Texas purchased many of her pieces and still have them. I hosted a show for at my father's restaurant in Houston back then. I have tried for years to find her and finally saw her obituary. My condolences to her family. Please reach to me, Ken, I would like to talk to you.

I have searched for years now to find Linda to see what her new collection contained. To no avail. It finally dawned on me to check the obituaries, since I could not get a phone response from Linda nor Ken. This confirms what I have thought all of these years. I was one of Linda biggest supporters. I have so much of her art work it's crazy. Once she had to borrow some of my pieces because she did not have many of her first works to display at a gallery in Birmingham, AL. I had purchased most of them. I loved this woman dearly. A beautiful genuine soul. Seventeen pieces of Linda's work graces my home. Several of them commissioned pieces. I am African American and Linda was Irish, but her work spoke to my soul. I think that's the 6% Irish DNA in me. Continue to rest easy my friend. Now I know.

I think of Linda often as I stand before two pieces of her artwork; she lives on through her art. I met Linda at the last Armonk Art Show she attended.

November 23, 2014

I met Linda last year at the Armonk, NY Art Show and we just hit it off from the start as I helped her set up her booth. Helping Linda take done her booth and load her paintings in her van proved to be quite costly as I ended up buying two paintings which I treasure. Linda actually spent the night at my home and she fell in love with my three Bull Terriers. It was a pleasure and honor to meet Linda and I feel honored to have her art work displayed in my home.

Ken, read about Linda's passing on Clarke's fb page. While I dabbled in art classes, Linda was a true artist and a real lady! My condolences.
