Larry Dolan Obituary
- - Father Larry Dolan, OFM passed away May 15, 2018 in Oceanside, California.
Father Larry entered the Franciscan Order in 1987 after serving as a priest of the Diocese of San Diego for 22 years. He is a graduate of the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. He taught at the University of San Diego and has served in parishes in San Diego, Mexico, Portland, the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation and Huntington Beach. Father Larry served as the Director of Pastoral Ministry and the first Rector of the Conventual Church of Our Lady of the Angels at the Franciscan Renewal Center, Scottsdale, Arizona.
Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 7pm a memorial mass will be held to celebrate the life of Fr. Larry Dolan at the Our Lady of the Angels Conventual Church at The Franciscan Renewal Center, 5802 E. Lincoln Drive, Scottsdale, Arizona, 85253 with a reception to follow in the Dining Room.

Father Larry was an amazing role model and close dear friend of mine. I will always cherish the times together and how cool he was... I will never forget the tour of San Luis Rey and our dinners together. I miss him dearly.

I'm so so sad to learn of the passing last May 15th of my dear dear cousin Fr. Larry Dolan. Our grandfathers were brothers. I knew something was wrong when he didn't text me right back as he usually did -my late husband and I met him once in Hingham MA - he was always there for me in any family difficulty especially after my husband's death in 2015. I will miss my cousin and dear friend terribly - he will always be in my prayers and I thank God for him in my life.

Father Larry was my cousin. I only met him once, just before he headed to Rome for the seminary. We reconnected recently over the internet.
When he was younger he played the bagpipes!
