My dad, Dean Smith, worked with Larry at the ASU Publications office and he spoke praises of Larry's great artistic abilities and the friendship he had with Larry and his wife. My dad just passed away a few days ago on July 7, so I'm sure they are together again talking about the good old days at ASU.

I had the special privilege of being the Phoenix Gazette carrier for Larry's wonderful family in my early teens. About 25 years later I revisited The Toschicks at their home in Pine, when taking my sons to the rim on a hunting trip. They were just as gracious as ever, and I was glad to have the opportun9ity for my sons to meet my friend, the artist who had painted so many wonderful wildlife pictures hanging in our home. Love, Gene Wussow

What a precious gifted man, he would bring me Az Highway pictures he did, whenever he came to his dental appointments (with his lovely wife)& I admired him and his art so very much. He was always so thoughtful, it was truly a blessing to have known him. My love to his family, In Jesus Love, Cheryl (formerly from Dr Blanchette office)...

From the many friends at the Forum where Larry and Ceil have lived these past years, Larry embraced a love of life, a respect of nature, a deep commitment to his Lord and Savior, a love and loyalty to his precious wife and all the family. He was profoundly patriotic frequenly requesting prayers fur the military personnel; He lived his life well and that life will continue on in his artwork and in our memories.

Praise God for the great years we spent in Pine with Larry. So many wonderful memories of a dear friend. The exciting thing is we will spend eternity with Larry thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ.

I grew up with Larry and Ceil as neighbors, they were like grandparents to me. I have many wonderful memories, a Christmas ornament collection they started for me when I was 10, beautiful art in my home and knowing I painted a picture that was framed and hung in their house. Thank you Larry!

I was just remembering a really funny story Larry told me when I was a kid...it still makes me laugh! He will be sorely missed.
My condolences to the family of a great man.
