James Moore Obituary

Moore, James W.
James "Jim" Moore, 50, of Glendale, AZ passed away September 19, 2012. He was born in Phoenix, AZ November 1, 1961 to James W. and Katherine Moore. He graduated Thunderbird High School in 1979 and attended ASU until he founded Pro-Fitness Exercise Systems manufacturing gym equipment until his death. Jim had a larger than life personality and a wry sense of humor that touched many people's lives. He loved and participated in many sports beginning with Little League and Pop Warner, baseball, basketball, tennis, swimming, biking, hiking and, of course, weight training. Jim spent many hours of training alongside his beloved daughter, Alexis, to fulfill his lifelong ambition to compete in the Malibu Nautica Triathlon. This event tragically led to his untimely death. Jim was a wonderful father and is survived by his daughter, Alexis, 19, a student at U of A, his mother, Kathy, sister, Kelly Peterson (David) and brothers, Casey and Michael, Uncle Richard Moore (Jeannie), nephew Andrew Peterson, niece, Katie Peterson. His father, James Moore, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at Pure Heart Christian Fellowship, 14240 N. 43rd Ave, Glendale, AZ Friday, September 28, 2012 at 6:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Dan Steffen.

To the family: Be courageous and strong. When your strength is gone and endurance tested. Do not suffer shock or be terrified for God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9) With deepest sympathy.
