Thoughts and Prayers for the Mallin Family.
I deeply regret not having reconnected with the Doctor. The last time we met was April 1968 when I returned to Viet Nam and brought him a Care Package from the Family.
Our people have roots in Prescott and I grew up in Ray-Sonora, Arizona; a copper mining community.
Upon returning home from Viet Nam the Family gifted my spouse and I a very much appreciated stay at Mountain Shadows.
Please know you are in my prayers, Always.

Risa and family, we were unaware that Bruce had passed. We were away last week and someone told us.
We are truly sad and will have fond memories forever.
Bryan still talks about fishing with Bruce.
Our sincerest condolences

I was referred to Dr. Malin with a tumor in my arm! I was in surgery in three days! It was a malignant Scaroma! My after care lasted 6 years every three months! We were attached at the hip! His devoted care complaint about the computer etc was kind and direct! He telling me your good to go Tom and sitting on a chair, which he never did, told me he was retiring! I'm clear now 12 years! Thank You Dr. Bruce for saving my life! RIP now he shines his light on you forever more! You will be sorely missed! Thomas Doely

I was referred to Dr. Malin with a Malinant Sarcoma tumor in my arm! I was in surgery within three days! My after care was every three months with all my MRIs in tow I was with Dr.! He would come into the room with a smile and complain about the computer, look over all of my images and say well I'll see you in 3 months so far so good no problems! This went on for 6 years! We became friends! My last visit with him he came in and sat down after looking at my images and said I was good to go and he had something to tell me. I said Dr. I can guess you are retiring, he said how did I know, I said In 6 years you have never come in and not complained about the computer and sat down! He said I was right, it was time to spend time with his family! I'm now going on 12 years clear! I owe my life to this wonderful devoted man! My deepest sympathies to his wife Risa, and to his family! God is shining his light on him now! Thomas Doely

I was referred to Dr. Mallin in 1999 for a tumor in my leg. When I asked around the medical community about whether he was "any good", the response was simply "well ... he is the best"!
At our first meeting I asked if he would be handling all of my care and he replied "you and I are joined at the hip"!
Over the next few years, I met with Dr. M, his staff & his Bose Speaker in surgery at least 14 times. When we took my leg at the hip in 2007 he said I wouldn't need to see him anymore but please stop by and say "hi" when in the area. I did.
He was my doctor but I considered him my friend. He shared my optimistic view of life and was the epitome of compassion.
I miss him dearly!
Rest well, Dr. Mallin. You earned it!
