Richard George Beman ("Dick" Beman)
January 16, 1946 - January 13, 2021
Richard George Beman ("Dick" Beman), 74, a longtime resident of Alta, Wyoming, passed away January 13, 2021, in Bakersfield, California.
A Bronze Star and Purple Heart recipient for his service in Vietnam, Dick was a 1963 graduate of San Marino High School in Los Angeles County. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University. Dick also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Fijian Islands.
He was an avid skier, surfer, kayaker, hang-glider, swimmer.
He loved the outdoors, his family, and animals, particularly every good dog he ever met.
