Dr. Johnson was a wonderful person, and a beloved former faculty member at Johns Hopkins. His name comes up often in our conversations. He made a huge difference as a leader and teacher. He was a founding father of our field of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Johnson touched so many lives as a caring and excellent physician, though, as well. I would only add that he will continue to touch many women's and many babies lives even now and in the future through the poineering research he did for example in pretmature birth prevention. I had so much respect for him and I remember him fondly. I hope that everyone in his family finds comfort in this time of loss.
Sincerely,
Karin Blakemore

I was so saddened to hear of Jack's passing away. I was his secretary for 10 years while he was at Hopkins and he delivered my beautiful daughter, Tammy, in 1977. My heart goes out to all family and friends.
My very best wishes,
Dee Wheeler
