Edward BRESLIN Obituary

BRESLIN, Edward T. "Ed" February 19, 1944 - April 23, 2025

Ed passed away on April 23, at the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Woburn, MA, after undergoing cancer surgery at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, earlier in April.

Born in Worcester, MA, his family later moved to New Hampshire, where Ed attended Concord High School in NH and played in the pep band. In college, he studied engineering and later in life, became a technical writer.

A lifelong New Englander, Ed was a true Bostonian. A man out and about the town, who loved to socialize with friends. He was a decades-long member of the Sitzundjibers Social Club.

Ed was a passionate swing dancer, an avid reader and book collector, a true history buff, a great conversationalist, a movie lover, and a faithful Boston sports fan. Go Sox!

Ed's parents predeceased him. His brother, William H. Breslin, passed away in 2023. There are no known next of kin. On July 9, Ed was interred at Hillcrest Park Cemetery in Springfield, MA.

A Celebration of Life for Ed was held on July 17, at the Cefalo Memorial Complex in Melrose, MA, where he resided. Ed was a great guy and a good friend.
