Of Milton, formerly of Dedham, March 27, 2007. Beloved husband of Claire F. (Stevenson) Riley. Devoted father of Edwin J. Riley III & his wife Marguerite of Milton, Janice Shaw & her husband Edward of Dedham, Steven Riley & his wife Susan of Dedham and Mark Riley & his wife Denise of Braintree. Loving grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Brother of Beverly Barnes and the late James Riley and Florence Shanahan and dear brother in law of Madlyn Riley of Winthrop. Ed is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews & their families. Funeral from the P.E. Murray-George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY on Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Susanna's Church at 10:00. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Late WWII U.S. Navy veteran and retired Asst. Regional Administrator for OSHA. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St. Mary's Lifeteen Sydney '08 Pilgrimage Fund, 25 Avery St., Dedham, MA 02026-2892.
