Stella Houlihan Obituary

Of Tewksbury, age 86, a former Tewksbury Post Office Clerk, died August 3. She was the wife of the late William J. Houlihan, the former Postmaster of Tewksbury. Daughter of the late Luka & Barbara (Walkivitch) Briscoe. Mother of Paul W. Houlihan & his wife Lori (McCracken) of St. Petersburg, FL, Brian G. Houlihan & his wife Rhonda (Abraham) of Peabody; two grandchildren, Myles W. Houlihan of FL, & Erin M. Houlihan of Peabody; a sister, Luba (Briscoe) McGee of Statin Island, NY; & many dear friends throughout the Merrimack Valley. Relatives & friends will be received Wed., Aug. 13, from 10 A.M. until 12 Noon in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of Dewey & Main Sts. (Rte 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, phone (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950. Her Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 Noon in the Funeral Home. Burial at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 will be appreciated. tewksburyfuneralhome.com

Stella will be missed. I always enjoyed talking to her while servicing the fire extinguishers at the Blaire House. She never forgot who I was.
