LIESELOTTE SUSKIND Obituary

SUSKIND, Lieselotte, M.D. 93. Of Cambridge and Rockport, MA on April 4, 2014. She is survived by Geralds widow, Mary Jane Suskind of Washington, DC and her cousin, John Pohl, of Louisville, KY. Her brother, Gerald died in 2007. A Memorial Service is being planned. She came to Cambridge in the 1950's, where she worked part time as a child psychiatrist at the Guidance Center in Cambridge. From July 1964 to June 1965, Dr. Suskind trained as a clinical instructor at the famed Floating Hospital for Children in Boston, since known as the Tufts New England Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the Guidance Center, 5 Sacramento St., Cambridge, MA 02138. I'll miss you always...

Lilo was my friend. I helped her with decorating her house in Rockport, her many soirees, selecting her lovely cats etc. She would listen to my many concerns and give great advice. I will miss her and never forget her energy and courage.
