Bob, I hope you realize you still are in my head. You may be chuckling about this but its all good because every memory every laugh we had is so powerful and meaningful to me its quite amazing. Like I told you Ive seen a lot of great comedians that are extremely famous and of our time and you were just as good as all of them. Your kindness, compassion and empathy to all living things was profound and will always stick with me thank you so much for that. I have no fear Bobby you made a difference.

Bobby,
I just found out. There's a joke in there; I'm sure you would have found it! I just talked to you in January 2015, asked you to meet me at the opera. That's when you told me you were sick. But I didn't know you left us in July. The next opera I sing, I'll be thinking about you, wishing you were there. Take care buddy...we'll be laughing together again before we know it.

Dear Bob's Family,
I just found out that Bob pasted and want you to know how sorry I am to hear this news. He came to me for therapeutic massges at the Tannery in Newburyport, in the 90's and I enjoyed his humor, candor, and advice on many occasions. He was a wonderful man and will be missed.
Blessing and healing to all.

I'm sorry for your loss.

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.

For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.

I met Bob when he did a comedy show at my high school. After the show he found out I was graduating in a few months. With great excitement he asked if he could come to my party. Being a man of his word he came. Bob was a treasure.

Bob never knew it but he was one of my heroes, not only because of the personal challenges he overcame, but for his gift of comedy and more important his genuine kindness to all he met. several years ago I asked if he would attend my mother's 80th birthday celebration in Everett. Not only did he show up to share his comedic genius but he would not accept any payment that i offered. I saw him perform many times and never got tired of his routine. I will miss him dearly.

Bob did not know it but he was a hero to me. Not only for his gift of comedy but for his gentle and kind spirit. Several years ago I asked if he would come to my mother's 80th birthday celebration in Everett and do a little comedy. Not only did he show up and bring his gift of laughter and warmth: he refused to take any money from me. He was a gift to all who knew him and I will miss him dearly. Lou DiSanto

I met Bob when he did a comedy show at my high school. After the show we were talking and he found out I was graduating. Bob with much excitement said he wanted to come to my party, so let him know. Bob being a man of his words , he came. He did a little toast but mostly hung out with people. I am nonverbal and use a wheelchair. From the first night we met I felt he understood my sign/ hand gestures. Every time I saw him he made me laugh more and more. He was a treasure.

BOB

In 1996, we met Bob on Mt. Aconcagua in Argentina where we discovered that we shared a deep passion for exploring the world! Through subsequent years, we had the pleasure and the privilege to travel with Bob on four continents and through eight countries! Diana made it a foursome in Rome and Morocco!
Bob's childlike enthusiasm, zest for life, compassion for mankind and thirst for knowledge had a profound effect on us and we try every day to emulate his character.
Our lives have been completely changed and greatly enhanced by words expressed by Bob on our "2nd Annual Walk in Lynn Woods." And for that, we are forever grateful.
Bob, we believe that you are just away on another trip and that we will receive a postcard from you any day now. It will not be the typical paper postcard with your signature message, "Peace, Love, Roberto" with the smiley face on the O but there will be a sign or a message that you will get to us all and we will once again feel the warmth of your embrace"

Every person in this life wants to feel that they made a difference. Bob made such a huge difference and brought so much happiness in many people's lives. Over the year's we have thought of some of the funny things he did in his act and just being himself. Years ago I remember he said on the stage that he didn't have a cell phone like everyone else - so to fit in - he'd take his wallet out of his back pocket and flip it (like a flip phone) - this still makes me laugh. Yes, he made a difference in this life.

July 16, 2015

May you make all your loved ones in heaven keep on laughing. You were an amazing funny and kind man. We will always remember how you made us all laugh.
