Tillman Rodabough

ABERDEEN - Tillman Bascom Rodabough, 92, died March 25, 2010, at North Mississippi Medical Center of Tupelo. Services are Monday at 1 p.m. at Tranquil Methodist Church with Harrison Upshaw, J.C. Burks and Wallace Cason officiating. The body will lie state from 11 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will follow in Tranquil Cemetery. Visitation is today from 5-7 p.m. at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel of Aberdeen. Mr. Rodabough was born Sept. 16, 1917, to the late Harry Webster and Texana Rosalie Rodabough. He was a lifelong resident of Monroe County. He was a retired machinist for Mississippi State University. He was a member of Tranquil Methodist Church, a veteran of World War II and a Mason. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Lucas Rodabough; and son, Lamar Rodabough. He is survived by his daughter, Judye Rodabough Clisby, of Irmo, S.C.; son, Dr. Tillman Rodabough Jr., of Waco, Texas; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Tranquil Cemetery Fund.
