ROBERT LUCHS Obituary

Robert "Ron" W. Luchs, 77, retired advertising copywriter and U.S. Marine Corp Korean War Veteran, passed away peacefully May 5. Beloved husband of 25 years to Patricia Matosic Luchs; father of Hilde (Paul) VanVleet, Kurt (Suzi) Luchs, Ernst "Murphy"(Joab) Luchs, Helmut (Barbara) Luchs, Sara (Mike) Rodgers, Rolf (Maike) Luchs, and Cara (Tom) Leeman; grandfather of eight; brother of Janet (Bill Itter) Mundall and the late Jim Luchs; former husband of Jeannine Luchs; uncle and friend of many. Memorial Mass Saturday, May 15, 10 a.m. at Holy Name Cathedral, 735 N. State St., Chicago. In lieu of flowers and to honor his compassionate nature towards those less fortunate, donations may be made in his name to Chicago Coalition for the Homeless, www.chicagohomeless.org (312) 435-4548. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Illinois 773-281-5058.
