I guess I’ve been in a pandemic bubble because I just recently found out about Sam’s death when I ran into his friend with Cora, Sam’s dog. I was shocked! Sam was a fine young man who brought joy into many people’s lives. Once he asked me to guess his age and I reluctantly guessed 28, he was appalled... because he was only 24! I never in a million years would have thought he wouldn’t make it to the age I guessed. I am very sad and my heart goes out to his friends and family. RIP Sam.

I am so sorry for your loss. I played with Sam at NU tennis. He was a dedicated teacher who always demanded more from his students. He wanted us to fight hard to win points and was not happy when we lost easy shots. I hope to live up to his expectations.

Sam brought joy to the street with a ready smile and an easy handshake and always a ready tennis tip. A lovely guy who will be greatly missed.

Will always remember Sam's amazing smile. He had an incredible and infectious positive attitude and was always willing to help others. Even on the tennis courts where competition was king, Sam was a prince.
Sam will be very much missed by so many. We are all wrapping a big hug of love around you today and always.
