Evansville, Ind.
Judith "Judy" Ann (Bruner) Moore, 72, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.
Judy was born in Evansville, Indiana on April 23, 1944 to the late James and Alice L. (Parker) Bruner. She retired from Marian's Hallmark Gift Shop after 27 years of service. Judy was a member of Northeast Park Baptist Church. She enjoyed flower gardening and traveling on weekends. Judy also liked going to auctions and collecting antiques. Spending time with her family brought her joy. Judy was a very good wife, mother and grandmother.
Judy is survived by her husband of 56 and a half years, Jack Moore of Evansville, IN; son, Jeffrey Moore of Tell City, IN; grandson, Kody Moore of Evansville, IN; sisters, Dixie Lantz (Roger J.) of Evansville, IN, Patricia McKinney (Allen) of Henderson, KY; sisters-in-law, Carol Robbins (Richard) of Evansville, IN, Doris Jean Hall (Gary) of Hatfield, IN; brother-in-law, Boyd Moore (Yvonne) of Chandler, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter; daughter-in-law, Karrie (Goffinet) Moore; and mother and father-in-law, Raymond and Ethel Moore.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Steve Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Grandview, Indiana.
Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on, Friday, August 12, 2016 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 10:00 AM until service time on Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to AseraCare Hospice and all the nurses, especially Stephanie, Casey, Julie and Sue, and also to OHA and Dr. Ziegler and all the nurses, especially Ashley for all of the care and compassion given to Judy.

My thoughts & prayers go out to Jack, Kodi & the rest of Judy's family. Both my mother & I worked with her, first at Marian's Washington Square, then I followed her to the West Side until getting married & moving to Rhode Island When I heard that Judy was sick, I knew I wouldn't be home to say goodbye. I was very blessed to have been part of this wonderful lady's life. Judy will be missed by all who knew her, & I am grateful that she was able to see & play with my little girl last year.
