Carlus Dyer Obituary
Carlus E. Dyer - May 23, 2016.
Died at home in Yountville, CA at 99 years of age. Artist, Educator and Curator at the Museum of Modern Art, Silvermine Guild of Artists and The Aldrich Museum. Illustrated The Classic Ballet by Lincoln Kirstein, Sculpture commissions for CT "1% For Art" were "Stamford Column" and "Ascension". A widower, Ruth Kobler Dyer and Charlotte Trowbridge predeceased him. He is survived by Carla Dyer Jaeger, daughter, and Marjorie Mobley and Peggy Bulrice, his sisters, all of California. A Memorial will be held at Willowbrook Cemetery, Westport, CT, on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 12:00 p.m.
