Jerry West
May 24, 2021
I received my first 22 hrs of flight training from Jerry in a Piper PA 18 Super Cub at Ft Eustis Va. In 1965. I can still hear him softly chanting in my ear from his back seat, 70 an hour, 70 miles an hour, 70 miles an hour. I will never forget him, so sorry to read of his passing and that I waited too long to look him up again.

Jerry was a lifelong friend and we enjoyed many adventures and fun experiences including camping, fly fishing, and Sports car races. Jerry will be missed. Rest in Peace brother.
