Although I had been out on contact with Chuck for over 45 years , we virtually lived together during high school as members of "The Intruders" rock & roll band, along with Mark Ernst, Mike Collins, and Paul Mele. Chuck was always so funny with a very dry wit. I will never forget him. And although he was the youngest member of the band, he was the first to go, so sad too soon!!!

Chuck, you will be sadly missed by your family and friends. You are loved very much .
I will always remember your warmth , humor and friendliness and your great zest for life.
Thanks for teaching me how to tie a Windsor knot and wear cool ties like you , plus introducing me to
The Far side comic strip. The cartoon you gave me is still on my fridge and always makes me smile.
Rest in peace Chuck.
Love to you all Chris Thompson Brother in law from Finland

In 1984, I was hired as clerk or assistant of sorts for the trial lawyers at Grasso, Rodriguez, Putorti and Grasso. That is where I met Chuck. Not knowing what career path I wanted to follow, Chuck took me under his wing allowing me to attend Court proceedings, sit in on client meetings and follow him around. He showed me the practical and rewarding side of practicing law, which included conducting business on a golf course and reviewing facts of cases in between handicapping horses at Saratoga. He helped me decide to forge ahead into a career as a trial lawyer and after 23 yrs of practicing, I am very thankful for learning from and having fun with Chuck....enjoy the 19th hole.....

I can't say enough about this man. A dear friend who treasured his wife and children. Kind, generous, always willing to help out in any way he could. For the brief time we worked together we shared many stories of our childhoods and he could always make me laugh. He will be missed but always in my heart.

Dear Rachel, Justina and James,
Please accept our deepest sympathies on the loss of a much loved husband, father, brother-in-law, son-in-law, and friend to many. Mum has assembled a collection of photographs of Chuck and yourselves over the years, and his great love of his family and pride in them is evident in every picture.
Over the last several months he has endured his suffering and illness with remarkable courage and fortitude. We are sure you will always be proud of him, as he was of you, and he will be remembered with love and affection by us all.

Rachel, I am so sorry to hear about your husbands death. Please know that my heart is with you. While I never got to meet him, I loved that he shared his Women's Murder Club books with me.

My heart is breaking for his family. Chuck and I were married many years ago. I have thought of him often over the last few weeks and I was not certain why...now I know... he will also remain in my heart, as he has over the last almost 30 years. I hope we meet again in another life...love and light to the family he always wanted.

Chuck was proud to be a Criminal
Defence Lawyer, and he achieved many notable outcomes, including saving people from prison. He took delight in his loving English wife, our daughter Rachel, and in being the father of Justina and James, both of whom are now at college. Chuck appreciated and respected the good qualities embedded in the American way of life.

I worked with his mother Justine many many yrs ago at Gibbons in Scotia. A wonderful woman that we lost too soon and whom I will never forget. I send my condolences to her son's family. It is apparent he was his mother's son in being a wonderful person and much loved. At the end, there is no greater statement to be made.

Chuck was our dear son in law. When we visited from England he was kind, welcoming and generous. He did all he could to give us a happy, interesting time and he made us laugh.
Seeing his love for Rachel and delight in Justina and James was a joy for us. We also saw his care for clients and unstinting efforts to help them. Chuck was brave and uncomplaining about the leg injury that had been with him so long.
We admired and loved Chuck and are thankful he became part of our family. May he rest in peace and enjoy his new life.

Just a great person - whatever he did, he gave it his all. I enjoyed helping he and James with a few golf lessons/tips. A real class act all the way. He will be missed every day.
God Bless...

I will always remember my friend, Chuck Mango, from our Catholic Elementary days at St. Joseph's School in Scotia, to the later times when I consulted him as a client.
I extend my condolences to all his family and friends who lovingly surrounded him during his all to brief time amongst us.
Thanks for everything, my friend.

I worked for Chuck when I was younger. He would surprise me with winning scratch offs and had such a big heart. He talked about his kids all the time, he was so proud of them. Even after I left the office, he was still always up for giving advice or to chat about his family. He will be missed.

One of the finest men I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He gave to everyone who needed his help and advice, myself included, without hesitation. He inspired me musically when I was a teen, and his character and kindness will continue to inspire me as an adult. He will be missed, and always in my thoughts.

I remember Chuck as a young lawyer on State Street in Schenectady NY many years ago when we ran a Comic Book Shop. Chuck was one of our best and favorite customers.
