Darrell HUNTER Obituary
Darrell was such a fun-loving person. He was an avid NASCAR and Earnhart Jr. fan. He loved hunting, fishing, bowling, and just hanging out at home with his family and friends. The Serrano family gatherings were a favorite. Darrell had worked for Darrell E. Hunter Builder, Inc., with his father for the past 12 years. He and his father worked side by side for all of those years. He was such a talker and loved visiting with people.
Darrell was preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley Musselwhite.
He left behind two beautiful children, Jacob and Michael; his father, Darrell E. Hunter Sr. and stepmother, Sally; his mother, Brenda L. Jones and stepfather, Kenny (Shorty) Jones; grandparents, Clarence and Emma Jean Hunter; brother, Eric Hunter; aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of many others, too many to mention.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2012, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Darrell's life will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 4, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.

We just found out about Darrell Jr. yesterday. Needless to say we were shocked and saddened. I just don't know what to say. We have been in a funk ever since we found out about it. I wish we would have found out about it sooner, we would have been there to support you. Try to remember the good memories and let others go. The Lost.
I lost someone very close to me today. A brother ,nephew ,son, a lot more I could say.
My soul is sad and my heart hangs low. When you loose someone like him the world seems to cold.
Like a storm, the thuder and lightning that cracks the sky. I tell myself some souls cant be locked up , they must be set free to fly.
I feel like a wolf setting high upon a ledge, howling at the moon.
Thinking to myself why , why , what is the reason he is gone, way to soon.
I kow he is in heaven now, with family of old. Some how that gives me comfort ,something for my mind to hold.
I have had many adventures with him some good and some bad. Just thinking about some of the things we did make's me laugh and sad.
With clouds above and pain deep in my soul. He will live in our hearts now. A memory that will never grow old.
