Becky and Bonnie, we are so sorry to hear about your dad, I talked to him several times when he was walking with his caregiver, I think he liked the dogs to run out and bark at him because he always stopped to wait for it, I haven't gotten to see much of everyone for the past few years because of taking care of my mother every other weekend wears me out so I know what you've been through. He's with Ann and Bruce now in a better place,God Bless

Becky and Bonny. My condolences on your loss. Your father was a saint putting up with all of us always hanging around your house as kids. I never recall him ever saying anything that made any of us feel unwelcome.

Becky and Bonnie, I worked with your dad at United Virginia Bank and enjoyed every minute of it. He was a great boss, friend and neighbor. I'm so sorry you have lost both of your great parents. They will certainly be missed by a lot of people.

Becky and Bonnie,
Your parents, grandparents, Bruce and you girls were always special neighbors. I have so many wonderful recollections of all of you, of sharing good times and sad times. I enjoyed the opportunity to talk with your dad back when I was growing up and then when I returned to Newport News several decades later and would often see your folks at restaurants. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Bonny and Mike, Becky and Dave,
We wish to express our deepest sympathy to you for the loss of your dear dad. We are truly going to miss Berkley, from the beautiful landscape he added to the neighborhood, to the way he was always there for us. In your time of need, please know we are there for you. We are grateful to have had great neighbors in Ann and Berkley and will forever miss them, God bless…

What a wonderful man in so many ways. Husband, father, neighbor, friend to all he met.
Bonny and Becky, in your childhood, he always took the time to say hello to me and welcome me to your home. Please know that he is now rewarded for his life of kindness and goodness. My deepest apology for not knowing until reading this guest book that Ann had passed. Both your mother and father were so dear to me and shaped me as a person, mother, and grandmother.
One comfort is knowing that the energy of that duo cannot ever be destroyed. They are with you as your spirit guides always.
Much love, Merle and Dennis Ivey

Dear Bonnie and Becky, my heart aches thinking of what you are having to deal with at this time. I am going to miss seeing your dad plowing through the neighborhood on his way to the Warwick restaurant or Harris Teeter blowing his horn as he flew by. It always brought a smile to my face. He will be terribly missed in the neighborhood. Peace be with you knowing he is with his loving wife in heaven.

Becky and Bonnie, I am so saddened to learn of the passing of your dear Father. He was always such a joy to chat with. I will always remember him and your Mom coming in the Deli to get his Corned Beef and Cabbage and her Frank dinner. I hope you find comfort in knowing that he is with your Mother now and that they will both be missed by all who knew them.
