Patrick Martel Obituary
OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, March 12, 2018 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA, for Patrick Martel, who peacefully departed on Thursday, March 1, 2018 in Schaumburg, IL, at the age of 70. Visiting hours will be observed from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at Williams Funeral Home.
Pat is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Rosemary Ware Martel; a son, John Martel; a daughter, Kala Weaver and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special heartfelt thank you to his diehard bro, Alvin "Chubby, Moose" Haynes.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Patrick & Evelyn Martel Sr.; his sister, Donna; his brother, Wayne, and his first-born son, Alexander.
