AGE: 45 • Wilmington
Sherry Lynn Hampton, age 45, of Wilmington, DE, was called home by the Lord on Wednesday, October 1, 2014.
Sherry was a kind hearted woman who loved being around people. She was a very active member of United Methodist Church and had a heart for the homeless. She enjoyed cooking and watching soap operas. Sherry loved her family very much and always put them first.
She is survived by her mother, Janet Rudolph; daughters, Britteny Kreisel (Dustin) and Alyssa Jordan; grandchildren, Kevin and Leah; sisters, Jenice Jackson and Dorothy McQuade (Mike); her uncle, Eddie Owens, Jr.; her faithful dog, Buddy; and many other loving family members and friends.
A visitation will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 11 AM - 12 Noon in the Richardson Park United Methodist Church, 11 N. Maryland Ave. Wilmington, DE 19804 followed by a service in celebration of Sherry's life at 12 Noon. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in Sherry's memory to Richardson Park United Methodist Church. To send an online condolence visit Strano-feeley.com

Sherry was a beautiful, friendly,person and will be greatly missed.may God bless her family at this time and comfort them.This world has lost a wonderful person but now we have a angel watching over us.

I considered Sherry a good friend to me, and we will miss her smile and infectious laugh. So sorry for the family members that are left behind. I know there is a big void in everyone's heart. She was such a sweet person and I am going to miss seeing her outside on the porch. We were all very lucky to have known her and be in her life. I will miss her very much.
