Elizabeth Brisgone Obituary

Elizabeth (Betty) M. (nee McGrath) Brisgone, 89, of Folsom, PA, Ocean City, NJ, and Naples, FL, passed away peacefully with her family around her on February 17, 2015, after a brief illness.
Betty is survived by her husband of 60 years, Natale (Nat) J. Brisgone; son, Mark J. Brisgone (Karen Wallace) and daughters, Regina E. Brisgone (Steven G. Vegh), Elise (Joseph) Maresca, Laurie Larson (Kenneth Smaron), Maria (James) Sylvester; 10 grandchildren, (Christine (Brian) Smith, Michael and Emily Brisgone; Matthew and Gina Maresca; Nicole and Thomas Larson; Jessica and Meghan Sylvester and Sylvie Vegh); four great-grandchildren and dear brother, John (Joan) McGrath.
While Betty was primarily a homemaker, she was also active in her children's activities which among others included Scouts and the PTA at her children's school. Later she worked in the cafeteria at Ridley High School.
Betty is remembered most for her wonderful cooking ability, particularly Italian food and her famous Christmas cookies. She was the true matriarch of her large and extended family, embracing each generation with love and generosity, planning for holidays, particularly Christmas and Easter.
Betty and her family enjoyed summers at their home in Ocean City, NJ and spent the winters in Naples, FL with frequent drop-ins from her snow bird children.
