Berlin - Brenda Joyce Molnar, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Tidal Health Medical Center in Salisbury, with her family by her side, after a long illness and natural causes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver Biddle and Dorothy Lokey Dukes, and her first husband, Virgil Shockley, step-mother Ruby Biddle, and sisters, Patricia Jones and Jeannie. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, John Edwin Molnar and children, Michael Allen Shockley (Sherrie Lynn) of Sanbornville, NH, William Pete Shockley (April Dawn) of Dagsboro, DE, James Michael Molnar, Michelle Hundley of Fruitland, MD and Lorraine Fay Edwards of Showell, MD. There are five grandchildren, Breanne Marie Poulin (Josh), Tabitha Fay Edwards, Alexis Jade Molnar, Lillian Constance Molnar, Ava Lorraine Edwards, and one great-grandson, Levi Andrew Poulin. Also surviving are her brothers, Thomas Biddle of Florida, Vincent Biddle of Delmar, DE, Donnie Alexander and James Alexander both of Millsboro, DE, and her sisters, Ruby Riley (Bubbles) of Delmar, DE and Bonnie Gordy of Seaford. There are numerous nieces and nephews.

Brenda loved her flowers, gardening, dancing and traveling, but most of all, her family. She was one of the strongest women and most loving mother anyone could ever know. Her presence made an impact on all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 29th at 2:00 PM at the Burbage Funeral Home, 108 William St. in Berlin, MD, 21811. Friends may call from 1:00- 2:00 PM prior to the service. A private family visitation will be from 2:45 until 3:00 PM. A donation in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
