I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Shirley she was a beautiful woman both spiritually and physically and I loved her dearly. I was Shirley's hairstylist for many years and she became one of best friends throughout those years and we shared many stories about our families you would think we knew each others family well the way we talked so proudly of them together. I will miss Shirley and will keep the family in my thoughts and prayers in the weeks ahead.

We were so sorry to hear about Shirley's passing! She was such a wonderful lady and we are so proud to have known her and to have called her our friend. We always looked forward to seeing her when we were in Denton visiting friends. We send our love and deepest condolences to Kelly and Cecelia and Kevin and Libby and Cheryl and Art and to all the family that she cherished so much. God bless you all!

Shirley and I met when we both worked at UNT. She was a good friend and neighbor and helped me tremendously when I lost my son, Greg. She always had a smile and was always upbeat regardless of what circumstances she was going through. I will miss her terribly.
