94, passed away Dec. 7, 2020 at home with loved ones around her. Born in Denver on Sept. 21, 1926. Daughter of Dr. F. Julian Maier, Sr. and Margaret Underwood Maier. Attended East High. Graduate of CU where she pledged Kappa Kappa Gamma. Volunteer work included Junior League, Denver Children's Home and Denver Art Museum. Member of the DCC where she played tennis and golf into her 70s. Lifelong bridge player. Predeceased by husband Wilson and brother Julian. Survived by sons Jim and John (Melissa); grandchildren Katie, Ian and Colin Craighead; sister Liz Pixley, and her daughters Jill Pixley (Chris Brown) and Carey Marshall (John); grandniece Nicole and grandnephews Jake and Ryan Marshall. A memorial service will be held in the future. In lieu of flowers, memorials to: AdvocacyDenver.org
