Our deepest sympathy and love go out to the Montoya and Mccomb family at this time. I remember David and Sherry from the Cannon 3rd Ward days. David always had a huge smile on his face, and he and Sherry were always so happy. Please know that our thoughts and prayers will be with you, and we know our Heavenly Father will comfort you in this time of your loss. Families can be together forever, and your family will be right at the top.

I enjoyed taking care of David and his family at the VA Hospital in SICU. I was so impressed with David's calm demeanor- with all that was going on and the incredible faith shown by himself and his family. It was an honor to take care of David.

Dear Sherry & Dave Jr.

My heart and love go out to you along with the rest of your growing families. I remember having Dave jr in our Primary classes in Cannon 3rd ward when you where all staying with your mom. It has been 14 yres. since we moved from Glendale. But friends like your husband will alway be memorialble. It is such a difficult time to endure when you lose your mate and father. I know only too well my husband Wayne passed away 1 1/2 yrs ago, He was only 50 yrs old. I still miss him alot and so you will be in my prayers because that's the only way to receive comfort. Take care of each other, and God Bless.

David and Sherry have always been like my own children. All of Virginia's children have been like my children. I love all of them so much. David is just an extra-special person. Whenever he talked to me on the telephone, he was always so sweet and kind. "Big Dave" is always a sweet and kind and gentle person. I loved having on fresh lipstick and kissing his cheek and leaving the imprints of my lips on it. He never, complained. I'm not sure if he ever complained about anything too much. He just seemed to be grateful for life and everything in it. I will miss him so much, and I will love him for an Eternity. Dave, please ask the Lord to let you keep your eyes on the rest of us until we are with you again. We will try hard to be as good and special as you are. I'll see you again soon, Sweetie-Pie!

We are so deeply saddened at David's passing. Our daughter, Julie, will marry David's son, David, in just eight days. We send our heartfelt sympathy and love and know that our Heavenly Father has all things in His Hands. We are so grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ that binds us together as more than friends--but now family. Our prayers will be with the family through this most difficult time.

I remember that David was a loving Father to his kids Davie, Scotty, and Maria. I remember going to family reunions and the good times we all had. I remember him for his kindness. I remember him being one of the biggest Elvis Presley fans that ever lived. He will be missed.

I cannot express the sadness I feel in losing such a wonderful cousin. He was taken from Sherry and his wonderful family way too soon. He is now in a place of peace and rest, but we will miss him terribly. I think it is always harder on the loved ones left behind. May Heavenly Father look out for "Big Dave" until we all meet him again. Love, Michelle
