MARIAN BANFORD Obituary

Marian Eliza Banford 1915 ~ 2010 Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother returned to her Heavenly Father, January 30, 2010.She was born January 14, 1915 in Ogden, Utah to Aaranthon and Eliza Bingham. Mom was a faithful member of the LDS Church and held many positions during her lifetime. While facing many challenges in her life, she never lost her positive spirit and optimistic attitude. Mom's unselfish love and kindness will live forever in the hearts of those whose lives she touched. She will be dearly missed. If there is one legacy that she left, it would unmistakably be her children. She is survived by her three sons, Robert (Carolyne) Banford, Michael (Patricia) Banford, Gary (Wendy) Banford; and her daughter, Susan (Bill) Woodward. She is also survived by her brother, Kenneth (Carol) Bingham; 16 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. Her oldest daughter, DeAnn, who preceded her in death, is once again feeling the loving embrace of her mother's arms. Road, Fruit Heights, Utah, where a visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m.-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Salt Lake City Cemetery. Online guest book at www.russonmortuary.com.

Met Marian at the wedding of her granddaughter, Kori and our son, Bill. A lovely, quiet and friendly lady. Kept in touch with each other by card and mail. Called her Beatrice........she got a kick out of that. Met her once, she left a wonderful memory. Our condolences to the Banford family. Bob and Jeanine Smith

Met Marian at the wedding of her granddaughter, Kori and our son, Bill. She was a delightful, friendly, shy lady. I kept in touch with Marian ( called her Beatrice and she got a kick out of that) and she sent notes back to me. Fond memories of a lady I only saw at the wedding, but we became friends via the mail. Love - thats how I would describe Marian. I worked with Marian for a few years at E-Systems here in Salt Lake. Marion always had a bright smile and loved everyone she came in contact with. She will always be forefront in my memories. Marian showed all of us how we should treat each other. All our love to the family.
