John Randall McNeely

John Randall McNeely, 70, of Winnsboro, passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, at his home with his family at his side. Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Thursday at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the ACLU, the Southern Poverty Law Center or a favorite charity. John was born Oct. 24, 1942, in Alexandria, La., to the late John Henry and Miriam Rachel Smith McNeely. He worked as an IT manager for the Tandy Corp. before retiring. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Thomas W. McNeely. Survivors: His loving wife of 50 years, Sandra Almand McNeely of Winnsboro; son, Randall McNeely and wife, Tina, of Dallas; daughter, Carmen Bremer and husband, Steven, of Dallas; and grandchildren, Claire Bremer, Simon Bremer and Maxwell Wade McNeely.
