James Joseph Bauman Sr.

Bauman, Sr. James Joseph Bauman, Sr. passed away December 24, 2014. Born September 6, 1926 in Columbus, Ohio. Aquinas High School Class of 1944. U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II served in the South Pacific from September, 1944 to June, 1946. Retired from U.S. Post Office and Scioto Downs. Preceded in death by mother Mary A. Baumann Metzger, father Joseph H. Baumann, wife Jo-Ann Federer Bauman and youngest daughter Barbara J. Bauman Johnson. Survived by children, James Bauman, Jr. (Jack Johnson), Patricia Bauman, Larry Bauman (Lynn), Mary Lou Tuthill (Gary); son-in-law, Toby Johnson; grandchildren, Tiffany Bauman, Kimberly Bauman (Brad Huff), Catherine Elkins (Michael), Andrew Tuthill; great granddaughter, Amber Bauman; sister-in-law, Jeanne Federer; cousins, Joseph William Theado (Joan), Joseph Baumann (Dara) and many wonderful Federer/Erwin family members. Longtime member of St. Leo Parish. Friends received Monday, December 29th, 3-7 p.m. at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI Funeral Home, 1068 S. High St. Prayer service Monday at 3 p.m. Mass of Christian burial Tuesday, December 30, 10 a.m. at St. Leo Church, 221 Hanford St. Father James Black celebrant. Entombment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
