1948 - 2021
Daniel W. Hard, 72, passed away on January 18, 2021 in Venice, Fl. Graduate of Worthington High School 1966. Entered the United States Navy in 1967, serving in Vietnam, ultimately retiring in 1987 as a Builder Chief having served his whole career as a Seabee. Life Member of multiple Veteran's organizations including the VFW, Amvets, Navy Seabee Veterans of America, and the Vietnam Brotherhood. Also a lifelong member of the Masons. Survived by his spouse, Barbara E (Garrett), of 52 years; children, David (Theresa) Hard and Sharon (Daniel) Johnson; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronald (Suzanne) Hard and Gary Hard; and his sister, Sue (Michael) West. Services will be held on January 27, 2021 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, OH 43085 at 1PM with visitation beginning at 11AM. Interment will occur at Flint Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
