Leo Billoups Obituary
San Leandro
He was born on March 31, 1949 in Oakland, California. He lived in San Leandro, California until October 10, 2016. Beloved husband of Cheryl Valencia Billoups. His parents were Leo Billoups and Frances Billoups. He was the 1st of 7 children. He attended the following schools, Mount Eden High School, Chabot College and San Francisco State University. He earned his AA degree. After graduation, he began his own company C & E window cleaning and janitorial services. He was married to Cheryl on November 27, 1999 in Reno, Nevada. Who he spent 42 years together. He was a member of the Church of all faiths in Oakland, California. His most important events were playing football in high school and in college. Five words to describe him were very considerate, giving, kind and loving.
Eddie left behind a host of relatives and friends. Friends are invited to attend Funeral services at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, CA on Saturday October 22, 2016 at 1:00PM.

Great Guy and tremendous athlete!! I also attended Elmhurst Jr. High (Oakland) with Eddie as a classmate. I remember being in the same P.E. class with Eddie and being in awe of His athletic abilities. Our paths crossed once again, as Eddie ended up in Hayward's Mt. Eden High School. I had the pleasure of being a member of a championship track team alongside of Eddie!
Thank for the memories Eddie!

Eddie, we were both in Hayward's Mt. Eden High School Class of 1968. But I remember you before that -- from Elmhurst Jr. High in East Oakland. Even back then, you were a terrific dancer! I hope you knew, during your lifetime, how widely and well-liked you were. You can be sure friends will be looking for you on the Other Side. Take care till we all meet up again!

My condolences to the family. Eddie was also a great track star at Mt. Eden. (see picture of him and team). I was on the team with him. I knew him since we were at Elmhurst Jr. high in Oakland. He was always a great guy.

Eddie was also a great track star. I was on the team with him at Mt. Eden. I'll try to upload a picture of him and the team. He went to the State meet in the 100 yard dash. I knew Eddie since Elmhurst Jr. High in Oakland. He was always a first class person.
