It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother on June 17, 2015 at the age of 86 years.
Phyllis lived her Christian life with a kind, generous and peaceful spirit and was loved by all who knew her. She was an amazing gentle, loving and devoted wife and mother. Phyllis had a great sense of humor and a passion for the game of golf.
She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children: Therese (Colin), Loretta (Bryan), MaryAnn (Richard), Max (Kesi), John (MaryLou), (Danielle), Paul (Triss), Chuck (Lara), Gerard; 25 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, Carl; infant son, Thomas and son, Tony; sister, Norma and brothers, Mitch, Jim and Don.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 9830-148 Street, Edmonton. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
The entire family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Devonshire Care Centre for their compassionate care and kindness toward our mom over the past 4 years.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Youth Emergency Shelter or the Stollery Children's Hospital on mom's behalf.

My condolences to Phil's family. I was saddened to read about her passing.
Although I haven't seen her for many, many years we used to play golf together. When I no longer played at the Country Club we played together in two or three member guests. She certainly did love her golf.
