Sean Smith Obituary
Buckhead – Sean Casey Smith, 35, passed away Dec. 14.
The California native graduated from Effingham County High School in 1999 and received his degree from Oglethorpe University. He was employed in the Insurance Industry and was a huge Notre Dame fan.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Donald Smith.
Survivors include his parents, Donald and Robin Smith of Guyton; brother, Michael (Angel) Smith of Midway; grandmother, Kathleen Neklia of Guyton; nephews, Tyler Smith and Cameron Rahn; nieces, Destiny Rahn and Isabella Smith; uncle, Steve (Laura) Neklia; numerous cousins; his life partner, Ric Rolader.
Visitation was held on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. today at St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.

RIP Sean. I knew you for a short time but could always count on a good laugh from you. You will be missed by many and I pray that your family will find peace knowing how many lives you touched in your short life here on Earth.
I think of you every time I see a lady bug and now I will laugh a little when I see one.
Rest in Peace until we meet again
