Paulina Lopez Obituary


PAULINA "PAVI" LOPEZ, loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt passed away on November 21, 2007 at the age of 76 years. She was born on June 7, 1931 in El Paso to the late Seferino and Francisca Montes Rodriguez, Mrs. Lopez was a longtime resident of Clint and was a member of San Lorenzo Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Marcos Lopez. Mrs. Lopez is survived by her loving children, Marcos Daniel Lopez and wife Martha, Gilberto Lopez and wife Cynthia, Steven Lopez and wife Rosemary all residents of El Paso; and Martha Lopez Oporto of Clint. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; brother, Jose Ruben Rodriguez of Clint: five sisters, Soledad Rodriguez of Clint, Luz Rodriguez of El Paso, Evangelina Macias of Clint, Francisca Rojas of Socorro and Elogia Vigil of El Paso. Other survivors include numerous nieces. nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2007 beginning at 4:00 PM San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Clint with recitation of the rosary to begin at 5:00 PM. Funeral Liturgy for Mrs. Lopez will be held on Monday, November 26, 2007 at 1:00 PM at San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Clint. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Marko Oporto, David Macias, Eddie Macias, Osvaldo Rojas, Jose Zepeda, Richie Rodriguez, Ruben Rodriguez and John Vigil. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Lopez, Jose Ruben Rodriguez, Ernest Vigil, Orlando Montes, Michael Velarde and Larry Gene Durbin. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Clint. Entrusted to the care of RESTLAWN FUNERAL HOME, 4848 ALPS, EL PASO, TX 79904. (915)755-1977
