I was one of his students at UMBC. I remember him fondly and learned so much from him. His lessons served as a inspiration that served me often throughout life.

Ms. Canavan,
I am saddened to hear that the Coach passed on to a better life. I was one of his students and players at Boy's Latin School of Md in Baltimore from 1958-63. I noticed that the obit did not mentioned his great time at BL. Please accept mine and my classmates of 1963 condolences. He was a great teacher, friend and coach, and I'm sure at great father. God bless.
