We are sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I had many great conversations with Joe while waiting to pick up our kids from Horne St School or at the Spring Flings. He was certainly proud of his family and always involved with the school.
Your family will be in our prayers.

To the family of Joe Demers: I am so very very sorry for your loss. I went to school with Joe. Wonderful person, I was surprised to see him years later when I needed a taxi. We chatted about the days that past with many laughs. R.I. P my friend!

Sorry for your loss. Joe left us some great memories to reflect on over the years. Joe worked for the Hampton Inn before starting his cab Business. I had the pleasure of playing darts with him for many years. R.I.P

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. Cathy, it's been many years since we have seen each other, you always babysitting Jenni and Kelley for me. I am so sorry to read in yesterday's paper of the loss of your husband Joe. Miranda, Ryan, Jerrica and Selina, you have lost your wonderful loving father so soon. It was nice to see some pictures of the family through the years. You all are in my thoughts and prayers as the next few days will be the hardest for you all. With much love and light.

I work at WDH as a nursing assistant on the Garrison wing. I have had the pleasure of taking care of Joe many times over the years. No matter how bad he felt or how discouraging his condition was, Joe was always quick with a smile and was kind and gracious every step of the way. He was a wonderful man that I am glad I had the chance to get to know. God Bless his family as they carry on.

This makes me so sad. My oldest son, Scotty, was with his daughter for a few years when they were in High School. He lived with them and Joe loved my son like one of his own. He helped him get his license and a job and taught him responsibility. His influence helped make my son the amazing man he is today. I will forever be grateful to him.

I used to be friends with his daughter Selina when I was younger and I have fond memories of Joe being such a kind and friendly man. I also remember that he always made the most delicious chicken noodle soup for the Empty Bowls fundraisers they would do at Dover High. I send my deepest condolences to his entire family.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will truly miss you . You were an awesome neighbor. You were an amazing person . Thank you for all you've done for my family and I. I'm truly grateful for what you've done for my daughter and I. When I was pregnant and we didnt have a car you pretty much always had a taxi on stand by so I could get to the hospital if needed . Thank you Joe for just being you and a great neighbor. I couldn't give you more of my gratitude. Now look over cathy, your children , your family and friends . We will always check on cathy and make sure shes okay . We love her! So keep being the angel you are .
